Dr. Geisler grew up in Pocatello, ID, where he learned to love several pet species throughout his life. Because of this (thanks mom and dad!) and working at a pet store in Logan, UT, he realized he may be able to make a living as a veterinarian.

He graduated from Utah State University then earned his DVM degree form Oklahoma State University. He practiced in Allen, TX for two years after graduating before returning to Utah to practice in Riverton.

He joined SSAH in June 2018, but has lived in Saratoga Springs with his beautiful wife Lori and their four sons for 11 years. He enjoys spending as much time with his family as he can, and they enjoy music, theater, the outdoors, sports, and working on projects around the house together. They currently have one dog, two cats, two box turtles, a corn snake, a rat, a parakeet, a leopard gecko, and several fish in their home, but that can change at any given time!
