Boarding

We are happy to provide boarding to our current patients. If we have not seen your dog here before, we do require that they have a current exam with us prior to making any boarding reservation. We want to make sure your pet is healthy, have an idea of their temperament and see that they are up to date on vaccines.

We require that all pets are up to date on all core vaccinations (Da2pp, Bordetella and Rabies) at least 1 week prior to boarding with us.

Ease your concerns about leaving your pet behind while you’re away: Let our qualified kennel staff take care of him or her. We will provide your dog with a safe atmosphere. You have the added benefit of knowing that one of our veterinarians will promptly begin treatment if your pet gets sick during his or her stay.

  • All dogs are boarded in a 3’ x 6’ kennel during their stay.
  • Our kennel staff will take them on either a leash walk or let them out in our play area for 15 minutes only twice daily.
  • They are given fresh water and fed twice daily. You will need to bring your dog’s own food and enough of it to get them through their entire stay.
  • We do not accept personal items like toys, food bowls, blankets or beds.  We will provide blankets if your pet is not a chewer.

Our current boarding fee is $30 each day the kennel is reserved. If you have two pets, and they can board in the same kennel (not to exceed 150lbs,) you can board the second pet at a discounted rate.

We are limited to 10 kennels and do fill up during the holidays!  We would recommend making a reservation during the holiday season, at least a month in advance.

Please call our office if you have any questions about boarding at our hospital!
